Music Futures Conference (WBL)

Music Futures Conference is a one day conference where all the leading North East music industry figures get together and discuss where the future of the industry lies, and they try to help people who are serious about music make money in the industry. 

The challenge that I had was to rebrand this event, and try to capture the feeling of what the Music Futures Conference is all about and what they aim to do. 

When researching into the company, I found that they were really all about what music is all about, and where it is going and so I tried to get this across in my work with a design that was very simple and stripped back, much like the feeling I got when reading about the event (they are all about the music, nothing more, nothing less) This led me to research into various aspects such as where the event was held, which was the BALTIC as well as looking into general branding and various colour schemes etc.

Out of the four projects, I found this to be my least favourite however this by no means meant that I palmed it off and tried to get it over with. I tried to give it the same level of attention as I did with the other three projects and managed to come up with something that I felt really worked for the conference and what they were trying to get across. Again I managed my time effectively on this project, taking the amount of time that I had set aside for myself and getting to a stage where the design could be digitalised and taken to becoming a finished logo.
