Wonder Stuff Studio are a relatively new design agency, starting up in 2009. They are based in Gosforth, Newcastle in a relatively small studio which reflects the close knit team that they have. They have worked on projects both large and small, branding the contemporary bowling alley 'Lane 7' as well as a Durham based gin company.
After looking into their work, I thought that there were some similarities between their work and mine due to the range of projects. I then got in touch with them to ask for a meeting to discuss my portfolio to get some advice on my work and how to present it. This was the first time that I have shown my portfolio to an agency and so I didn't know what to expect.
When I got there, I sat in the conference room with one of the designers and talked through my portfolio, getting advice along the way. This proved to be a valuable experience as I got some great advice to take with me about how to present my portfolio as well as advice to do with my actual work. I also now have the confidence to get in touch with different agencies.
